About MenoMove
A movement built for Africa
MenoMove is an Africa-focused information hub, community and workplace movement. We exist to help individuals understand menopause, find support, and participate in a growing community — and to help organisations create workplaces where people feel genuinely supported.
Our mission
Menopause affects roughly half the population, yet it remains widely misunderstood, under-discussed and poorly supported — in healthcare, in workplaces and in everyday life. MenoMove exists to change that, starting in Africa.
We believe that knowledge reduces fear, community reduces isolation, and practical workplace support makes a real difference to people's lives and careers. Our work brings these three things together.
Our approach
Africa is not one culture, one healthcare environment or one experience of menopause. MenoMove reflects that diversity. We do not apply a single template — we work with the realities of different countries, communities and contexts across the continent.
Our information is evidence-informed and written in plain language. Our community spaces are facilitated and welcoming. Our workplace programmes are practical and grounded in what organisations can actually do.
An initiative of Business Engage
MenoMove is an initiative of Business Engage, a South Africa-based organisation with deep experience in workplace wellness and employee engagement. Business Engage brings the organisational knowledge and networks that help MenoMove reach workplaces across Africa.
